PicOfTheWeek: Drip Pan Halved Russet Potatoes

Published: Nov 3, 2013 · Modified: Apr 4, 2022 by Mike Vrobel · This post may contain affiliate links · 2 Comments

PicOfTheWeek: Rotisserie Drip Pan Halved Russet Potatoes.

Directions: Microwave small russet potatoes for 10 minutes then cut in half lengthwise. Sprinkle the cut side with salt and pepper, rough up with a fork, then put in the drip pan under a rotisserie chicken. Cook with the lid closed until the top of the potatoes start to brown, about 30 minutes.

Microwave times vary according to the volume of food being cooked (example boiling 2 cups of water takes twice as long as 1 cup).

What quantity of potatoes do you microwave for 10 minutes?

As many medium potatoes as I need. The question is not "what quantity of potatoes", it should be "what SIZE of potatoes." The volume of each potato matters, but not the total number of potatoes.
