Fall is my favorite time of year…and a few weeks ago I started to worry. It was October, and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s. That’s good for July, but October? Not so much.

It’s time for a hearty lentil soup. Following up on Tuesday’s Hungarian theme, I’m making Lentil soup with Hungarian Sausage. Now, you don’t need Hungarian sausage – any smoked sausage will do – but I have some nearby sausage sources and I like to get the good stuff.
