    Lake Erie Vacation 2018

Published: Jul 17, 2018 by Mike Vrobel · This post may contain affiliate links · 5 Comments

On the shores of Lake Erie

I’m on vacation, spending a week at my family’s cottage on the shores of Lake Erie. Then, the week after that I’m recovering from hernia surgery. (Fun!)

In other words, posting will be sparse for the next two weeks. (Cell coverage and wifi are spotty out here.) I’ll be back to my regular schedule in August. See you then!

PS:  Amazon’s Prime Day Instant Pot Duo for $58 deal is still on through the end of the day today. Did you get one? Let me know in the comments.

I got one too, my wife bought it for me! I had been grumbling about not having one and every decent pressure cooker recipe being written for the IP...

It arrived today and this weekend is alleged to be rainy, so I’ll peruse the site and find something to cook.

Thanks for the blog, I enjoy it very much.

Will any perch or pickerel be involved in the Lake Eire part? Good luck on the surgery and speedy recovery.

Thanks! I’ll be eating some perch somewhere along the line. 😀
