We have a winner…
The winner of the Cattlemen’s Collection Steak Package, picked by Random.Org, is comment #49 – congratulations, Douglas!
How does Douglas like to cook his steak?
DOUGLAS / JULY 7, 2015 (EDIT)
I use GrillGrates on my Big Green Egg. Salt and pepper or steak rub. Pre heat to 450–500 degrees and give GrillGrates time to get hot. For a 1.5 inch steak, grill for about 3 minutes then make a quarter turn and grill for 3 more minutes. Flip and do the same on the other side. Pull when internal temp is 125–130 for med rare. Great grill marks.
Douglas, please get in touch with me with your contact information by Wednesday, 07/15/2015, so Certified Angus Beef can send out the Steak Package.
Sorry, everyone else – better luck next time.
Thanks again to Certified Angus Beef for the Steak Package to give away.

Thanks Mike, that sounds like a winner. One last question - do you have a Coupon Code? Thanks again!
Michael Singerman
OK thanks Mike! Any particular package you would recommend? Hope you're well.

I'm a Ribeye kind of guy, so I'd get the all ribeye package; but it depends on who you're buying for. The Cattlemen's Collection that I was giving away had a great mix - Filet Mignon, New York Strip, and Ribeye, all in one.

Hey Mike, long time no comment... I have a question for you: I want to send a friend a gift steak delivery. It's been a very long time since I've done so, and last time I used Omaha Steaks. Can you give me your take on Certified Angus vs Omaha vs another brand? I also looked at Peter Lugers but their steaks are insanely expensive for delivery (they're fresh, not frozen).
Thanks!

I don't have a lot of experience with Omaha steaks - I've only had them a handful of times - but my opinion is that the Certified Angus Beef steaks are higher quality. (And, from a quick check online, the CAB packages are cheaper, too.)
