Looking for a quick appetizer this holiday season? Deviled eggs to the rescue.
I resisted hard-boiled pressure cooker eggs for years. “Bah. Why bother? What’s wrong with a pot of boiling water, it doesn’t take that much longer?” Then I tried the 5-5-5 technique, and was immediately won over. It’s so simple, and so quick. And, like most converts, I became a fanatic. I pressure cook a dozen eggs almost every week, so I have them as a quick snack in the fridge.
5-5-5 hard-boiled eggs mean I can whip up a batch of deviled eggs any time I need them. I have a lot of holiday parties coming between now and the New Year, and deviled eggs are my go-to “bring something to nibble on” recipe. I love the traditional version, but these Wasabi deviled eggs are my favorite.
