So…I picked up an extra turkey carcass this Thanksgiving, and I now have a freezer full of turkey broth. In fact, my freezer is overflowing, overloaded…dare I say overwhelmed with turkey broth? Me? Mister “Save the bones” has too much broth?
Never!
Well, maybe. I mean, we had to eat the ice cream we bought for Thanksgiving because it won't fit in the freezer. (This was a hardship, let me tell you.)
But I do know how to use up some of that extra broth, and free up some freezer space. It's time for Turkey soup from the Noreño border between Northern Mexico and the Southwestern US.
