My Pressure cooker short ribs recipe is one of my original blog posts about pressure cooking 1, and my first PC recipe to get ranked by Google and read by people who weren’t family or friends.
Now, don’t get me wrong - I love the recipe, and cook it often. But, after years of blogging, I cringe when I look back at those early posts. 2 I’ve learned so much since then.
For example: the prep pictures look pretty good, because I took them with natural light. My original “beauty shot” 3 of the meal ready to serve, however:
Yikes.
Complaining about Past Me aside 4, there’s a reason this is an evergreen post on Google. Short ribs in the pressure cooker are a killer recipe. They just work. So, this post deserves a tune up and a video:

Now, if only I had the time to go back and rewrite all my other posts from year one. And year two. And year three… Sigh.

Mike where do you get such meaty shortribs? The ones I find have such a small meat to bone ratio.

Panasonic G7 in time lapse mode (1 jpeg photo per second) => Apple Compressor software to combine images into a video file => Final Cut Pro for editing
